Save a recipe from Instagram, TikTok and more

Paste a link to a post and Thyme Kept reads its caption, or follows the creator's recipe link.

You can paste a link to a post from TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest, Reddit or Facebook into the Link tab of Add recipe, the same as any recipe link.

What Thyme Kept does with a post

  1. It reads the post’s caption or description.
  2. If the caption points to the creator’s own recipe page, or text shared with the link does, Thyme Kept follows that link and imports the page like any recipe link.
  3. Otherwise it reads a recipe written out in the caption.

The recipe is saved straight away, and you can undo it. See Add a recipe from a link.

When the post has no recipe

Some posts only show the recipe in the video. Thyme Kept saves nothing and tells you so: see A post has no written recipe.
