Finding a recipe

5 things
  1. Grid or list

A card shows a photo, or a menu card tinted by its category when there is no photo. In Settings you choose what a card shows: photo, description, rating, prep time, cook time and servings.

  2. Search

Search recipes, ingredients or tags from one field.

  3. Favorites and collections

Tabs run along the top: All, Favorites and your biggest collections. Make a collection of your own, and put a recipe in as many as you like.

  4. Views that think for you

Recently added, Highly rated, Never cooked, Quick meals and Needs a fix, and three that use your pantry: Ready to cook, Missing 1–2 and Use soon.

  5. Filters and sort

Filter by category, tag, who it was passed down from, whether it is shared, and whether it is yours or shared with you. Sort by newest, A–Z, cook time or rating.

Reading and keeping

5 things
  1. Scale it

Smaller batch and Bigger batch change every amount, from a quarter to twelve times.

  2. Notes, ratings and the story

Keep personal notes and a star rating, and record who taught you the recipe and the story behind it. Notes and ratings stay private.

  3. Tidy in bulk

Select recipes to add them to a collection, tag them, favorite them, export them or delete them together.

  4. Duplicates, handled

Review duplicates shows likely matches, lets you choose the one to keep and merge the rest. A merge has an Undo.

  5. Read it offline

The first page of your library and the recipes you opened lately can be read without a connection. Editing and sharing wait until you are back.

Sharing and taking it with you

3 things
  1. Private until you say

A recipe is yours alone. Create a direct link and anyone with it can read the recipe, but it stays out of search. You can update or unpublish it at any time.

  2. Download or print one recipe

Download a PDF, print it, email it or copy the text from the recipe’s menu.

  3. Export the lot

Export all your recipes, a collection or a selection from Settings, as a Paprika file, as JSON or as printable PDFs.
