Add a recipe from a link
Paste a recipe link and Thyme Kept saves the recipe to your library straight away.
Thyme Kept can read a recipe from a recipe website, or from a post on a social app, and save it to your library.
- Open Add recipe. Choose Add recipe in the sidebar, then the Link tab.
- Paste the link. Paste one recipe link into Recipe website or social URL. One recipe at a time.
- Choose Import recipe. Thyme Kept reads the page and saves the recipe. There is no review step: the recipe goes into your library as it was read, and opens so you can look it over.
If you saved it by mistake, choose Undo on the “Saved to your library” message. It stays on screen for ten seconds, and longer while you are pointing at it. Undo and duplicates has the details.
Which links work
Recipe websites, and posts from TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest, Reddit and Facebook. A post has to carry a recipe: see Save a recipe from Instagram, TikTok and more.
If the page has more than one recipe
Some pages hold several recipes. Thyme Kept shows Choose a recipe, with a Save button for each one. The recipe you choose is saved.
If it does not work
Some sites do not let Thyme Kept read them. A link did not import lists each message you might see and what to do next.
